A useful feature of the GNARBOX 2.0 SSD is the ability to hot-swap batteries. Hot-swapping means you can remove the battery and connect a new battery without needing to power your GNARBOX down.
To perform a hot-swap:
- Make sure your GNARBOX is plugged into a power source such as the GNARBOX wall adapter or Dual Battery Charger. Ensure the red LED next to the screen is illuminated. This indicates that power is connected.
- Remove the battery and insert a new battery.
Hot-swapping allows you to do continuous backups over a long period of time or easily swap your battery out without interrupting your workflow.
Note: a hot-swap can only be performed when your GNARBOX 2.0 SSD is connected to the wall adapter or Dual Battery Charger.
